The Great Commission

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

(Matt. 28:19-20a)

The great commission that Jesus left for us to fulfill was to “make disciples of all nations”. Therefore, having that at heart CCBC has set out, under the direction of our Apostle, to make and train disciples for the body of Christ. The word “Disciple” means a disciplined follower. Our goal and mission is through life-aplicable teaching and heart challenging preaching is to assist Jesus in effectively and efficiently producing disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray as you make your informed decision to join our ministry that you look over all the information presented in this site and review the new discipleship process below. Feel free to check out our “Livestream” services (see Livestream section) for a preview of our worship experience or schedule a time to come by and check out our campus using the form below.

New Discipleship Process:

Making a decision to join a ministry is never an easy decision whether you’re moving from another city, coming from a previous ministry, or if you are a new convert looking for a church home. No matter what your background or situation may be, we are here to try to make this decision as easy as possible. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at anytime during this process if you have any questions (see Contact Us section).

1. Salvation:

Our main concern is not about gaining new disciples for our ministry, but that your soul be saved. This initial yet vital part of the process is the easiest to complete (assuming that you have not already completed this) and can be accomplished in two easy steps

a. Declaring with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord”

b. Believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Rom. 10:9-10) 2. Connect with us: If you desire to become a disciple, then we need to know you. You can accomplish this by either coming before the ministry publicly or filling out our online application for new discipleship below or for a paper copy to mail in please Download Here.

3. Start your training:

Once you have connected with our ministry, one of our new discipleship representatives will be assigned to you to help you through the rest of the process. As a new disciple, you are required to complete a self-paced orientation to the ministry that usually last 6 to 8 weeks, (depending on the student) before you are allowed to serve in one of our many helps ministries. Your orientation will culminate with a traditional “Cap and Gown” graduation.*
